One of the biggest frustrations homeowners experience during a renovation is watching the budget grow after the construction contract has already been signed.

Many contractors prepare their initial price using allowances for items that haven't been selected yet—cabinetry, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, lighting and other finishes.



Those allowances may make the initial price look attractive, but they don't always reflect what you actually want to put in your home. As selections are made, allowances can fall short and unexpected costs and change orders begin to add up.

We believe there is a better way.
